Is it wrong to use the term “bitch”?

Whenever there is a woman or person (fictional) who is being obviously rude, my bf calls them a bitch. It’s more like “Wow, that lady is a bitch”

He hasn’t called women as a whole “bitches” or said “This bitch today did this-“ He uses the term in a joking manner usually if ever used. I remember almost getting hit by a car while we were walking and this lady didn’t stop. He said “That f*ckin cunt-“ and told me not to apologize for what she did (I have a tendency to say sorry when not needed). He hasn’t ever called me a bitch or cunt.

I was uncomfortable with him saying the word “cunt” (even though I say it and I feel stupid for thinking that) and he understood and stopped.

I want to talk to him about all of this, but I feel hypocritical because I say these terms myself. But, I’m a woman and that is different.

Any insight? Does this make him a bad bf? Does this make me hypocritical?
