Scared to go to the dentist

I’ve been purging on and off for years now, but it’s gotten significantly worse in the last last year. I haven’t been to the dentist since February 2021 and I’m afraid to go now. I don’t know if my teeth are damaged from purging and I don’t know what I’m supposed to say if he notices something. I don’t want there to be a record of it if he notes something because of insurance reasons. I don’t know if something like this would affect insurance coverage, but considering the American healthcare system, it probably wouldn’t help. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? Tyia!
