Need some good hiking boots. What should I be looking for?

I've always just gone in sneakers with really bad support and my feet have gotten worse because of it. I need to get something since I will be working at a summer camp with a lot of walking and hiking. I have a super low arch and wear a woman's 7-8. Not trying to break the bank or anything. Any recommendations?
