Would the lipase and amalayse levels be considered acute pancreatitis? The Dr at the er seemed to not want to call it acute

Well it's up to your GI assessment so I'd go with that and keep looking for a cause of your pain

No, my CT both times has said it's normal. My GI said my symptoms do not warrant an EUS.

Does your CT show any changes suspicious for chronic pancreatitis? An eus would be the way to go to evaluate for chronic pancreatitis

44 yes old male, former heavy drinker, type 2 diabetic 220lbs
Have been having stomach pain lately. Have been to hospital a couple times. Had egd done as well as a few CT scans. Everything has come back normal except for once my blood work showed elevated amalayse (212) and lipase (260) had blood work done a week later and levels had returned to normal. Have diarrhea all the time and am worried about the color of my stool. Please help. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
