If the summons are dying before the halfway point, def try it without them. Technically summons don't boost bosses health, it boosts their defenses which does effectively increase their health, but if they aren't pulling their weight, don't use them.

After that, it's getting his moves down and possibly a test of your own endurance and focus. His little make a bunch of fireballs attack can be walked through. Some of his melee attacks are super telegraphed but he also has 3 hit combos that can become a 4 hit combo sometimes.

That being said I beat him with both summons and using sorceries.

I didn't realize NPCs buffed the boss, I'll give it a shot solo and see if that changes things

Ah, sorry, Xbox over here. As far as tips, I would say that knowing how to roll through his attacks is essential and just takes practice. The NPC summons can make that a lot harder both by buffing the boss's health and by making him more unpredictable. I have nothing against summons, but I think this is one fight where they really don't pull their weight.

Poison works quite well against him if I remember right.

Hehe gl. He is least resistant to strike and magic damages fyi.

I'll give that a shot when I try again later. I've been swapping rings and items around for hours at this point lol

Try with 1 summon instead of 2 I swear it helps. Might be the sweet spot for you. Otherwise potentially might want to switch up the ring loadaout a bit or use some extra items to just get that extra kick.

The fume knight summons are almost worthless. Try it without!

A little over half way through the fight both of the NPC Summons die out and I get him to about 1/4 health and keep dying. Cant get past that last hurdle. I'm running Pyro dex and obviously Pyro doesn't work against him so I've been left to fend him off with my rapier alone. Any tips or jolly cooperation available?
