Akari Ishikawa is basically a simp for ji woon. Ji woon is her senpai, the entity portrays the survivors as competition, trying to steal him.

One does not simply find happiness. Amidst a world of greyscale and darkness, you know only that nothing matters.

Akari's world lit up with color when she saw ji woon perform. The dazzling nature of her environment was vibrant, thanks only to the trickster.

When a world is Grey in someones eyes, when nothing matters, they don't know what to do with that knowledge. Akari found out what she could do with it, what she had to do with it.

12 consecutive murders over the next week took place. Akari could not be proven to be involved in any of them.

The 13th was thought to be ji woon. Akari invited him to show him some of her work.

Where Akari was expecting total shock and trauma, she was met with applause. Ji woon was impressed. He then made a proposition to Akari.

The mightee one executives. Ji woons big score.

Excited, Akari drew up plans to get into the building, trapping the executives so that the tricksters greatest performance could take place.

That's when the entity chose her. She whispered in Akari's ear. That's when she saw the world, not as enemies, but as victims.

Over the course of a month, 44 murders had taken place, each one sloppier than the last.

That 44th victim, as she made the final stab wound, the entity's claws had grasped her, dragging her into the realms.

Here, she was under the constant threat of her senpai being stolen. She wasn't gonna let anyone steal her love.
