Gaming laptop - Dodgy seller help

Hi r/pcmasterrace,

I need your help with a dodgy eBay seller if possible.

I just received a Acer predator Triton 300 i7-11800h 3070, but it came with an off brand 65 watt charger.

The charger that is meant to come with it is 180 watts.

He’s claiming that the laptop charger is an accessory, but specifically in this circumstance how can it be considered an accessory if the performance of the laptop is dependant on the charger itself.

The laptop itself is totally fine it’s just the charger that’s an issue.

Communication with the seller has pretty much broken down to him claiming that the item condition of open never used states it may be missing original accessories.

I do want to keep the laptop because i really like it but I feel like the seller is just going to get away with it if I keep it.

If anyone has any suggestions about keeping the seller liable it would be much appreciated.
