Diasporan guy here, interested in spending 6 months in Armenia to learn the language and explore the idea of opening a guest house. Can anyone provide any at all sort of relevant information about what opening a hostel / guest house would look like?
Why? I love Armenia and I've always loved Armenia, but my father never spoke the language to me growing up. As a people under attack, I feel like it's my cause and my duty to return to the homeland, learn the language, and integrate with the culture.
My girlfriend works in hospitality, and I want to 1. invest in real estate, 2. build a community and help a coupe people in Armenia by providing well-paying jobs, and 3. learn my father's language, so I thought a good merger of both our interests would be to try opening a guest house / digital nomad hostel in Armenia.
I have absolutely no idea where to start or what it might cost to do such a thing, so I appreciate really any insight at all. Shnorhakalutyun.
