Question about ordering merch from the square enix store

Has anyone from Canada ordered from the square enix store? And if so was your experience good or bad?

I want to order some of the merch from the square enix store, but I'm in Canada and the shipping prices are quite expensive. I've also heard some bad things about the square enix store's shipping times and sometimes charging a bunch a duty on top of the shipping cost once it gets here so I'm wondering if it's worth it
