What should my priorities be as a new player?

I finally had my first successful PMC raid, I killed 3 people and made out with some cool stuff. One of the items I collected was a gun, a Kalash with a hybrid scope and a bunch of fancy attachments. It’s valued around $150,000 Rubles for most of the merchants - do I sell these kinds of things or use them in raid? What should my priorities be raiding as a new player? Now that the tasks are back online I know I need to be doing those but is there anything else I should be doing with the stuff I find or is it all just used as gear for the next raid?
