Just got contacts, need help.

When I put in my contacts, everything up close gets blurry. However, i belive they are the correct subscription. I can also see the corner of where it no longer covers my eye. My eyes also lose focus pretty easily with them on. I have them for sports, but when I tried wearing them throughout the day it was still annoying.
