Remote Inventory Audits

COVID-19

This is a bit of a shot in the dark but here goes-

I work at a company of about 600 employees and like most businesses we had to move our work force to remote positions. Our inventory system is relatively well maintained aside from the "covid" scramble equipment that people took home.

We skipped an audit in 2020 and for our 2021 audit we basically manually sent out spreadsheets with a list of equipment and asked for their asset numbers. Unfortunately it didn't go well, we are still missing information and the information we did get was not consistently entered into our inventory system because we had 10 people managing it instead of our usual 2.

So my question for you- how do you handle your work at home inventory audits? We're currently using WASP and I'm not seeing a real effective way of accomplishing this other than attempting what we did last year. At this point I just have to tell my team to "do better than last year" and hope it goes well.
