My father took my car, came home drunk, kicked me out, refused to give me the key to my car, no idea where the car is, I need to know how I can get my car back.

I have no idea what course of action to take. If I report it stolen, knowing my dad the car my never turn up again so I'm here sitting on the fence. He has also been know to forage documents so he could transfer the title without my consent if he were to go that far. It's rough waking up at 3am to a drunk yelling.

Dress up as a girl. Have sex with your drunken father. Take pics. Blackmail him.

Not helpful but I got a laugh.

Call the cops. If he gets away with it, he gets away with it, but at least you didn't just let him walk all over you.

Agreed, assert your goddamn rights.

sigh it does feel like the only thing I can do. I just hate to see him go to jail and no one be around to take care of the farm.

Well, he should have thought of that before he kicked you out and stole your car. Shitty actions have consequences.

He's been known to search for documents in the wild?

Call the cops. He stole your car, he needs to pay. Does he still have your keys on him?

Yes he still has the keys on him

Call the police. Tell them your car is gone and that your dad has the keys. Otherwise, forget about ever seeing your car again.

Is his name on the registration?

No just mine.

Damn, dude. You may be able to call the police and say your father took your car without permission and left it somewhere, you don't want to report it stolen, but you need to know the location of it is....but if you truly have responsibilitys that require your car, talk to your dad first and let him know if he dosn't return the car, you will report it stolen by him.

You need to report it stolen. If he was in an accident with it (why else would he leave it somewhere and walk home, unless it ran out of gas), you will be the one they are looking for. Not him. Protect yourself. Good luck.

This. If he's done some kind of damage or hit somebody, then it's on you to pay for those damages, not him. Report it stolen, so that it's on record that he took it without your permission. Otherwise you'll be in a world of hurt if he's done something with your car.
