Playing Through Every Choices Book, In Order (Part 54: My Two First Loves)
Hey! Today we play as a teenage girl (very novel) as we attempt to deal with our incredibly convoluted love life, an overbearing father, a strangely heavy plot, and one hundred chapters of boredom!
Next time, we take on a position as the nanny to the sons of Sam Dalton, an exceedingly wealthy man who is also super hot! What positions will our heroine take in bed with him/her? Find out soon!

Review:
It took me two weeks to finish this book. Two weeks I may never get back. What possessed the people up at the Pixelberry offices to think a 100 chapter book would be a good idea, I’ll never know. Every chapter is only a few minutes long, and when you’re playing at most 6 a day (with my schedule), it feels like the equivalent of a chapter in any other book on the app. Also, every chapter without fail has a diamond choice, none of which are all that cheap, so all your diamond reserves can be drained away at a rapid pace. Of course, you don’t have to do the diamond choices, but then you miss out on extra content for already incredibly short chapters, so it’s kind of a lose-lose scenario. The LI’s are…something. I actually like the three of them, and the book is novel in that M/C likes all of them, and all of them like M/C back. However, this could easily have been relegated to about 20 or so chapters, not 100. If High School Story can do it, so can this book. I wish you could matchmake Noah and Mason lol, it’d almost make up for having to play this book. M/C herself is incredibly insufferable at times, as are the entire rest of the cast. And yes, “herself”. The book is genderlocked, because…I’m not sure. Like, it’d have been sooo simple to just genderswap the three LI’s and create new outfits/dialogue. There’s no extensive effort needed to ungenderlock this one. Look, I’m sorry. I tried desperately to find the good in this book, and there were moments I almost liked it. However, because it is so, goddamn, long, any positive feelings I had towards one chapter dissolved by the next few. Hell, I don’t even remember much of the plot as I type this review, because it just never interested me all that much, even with how heavy it got at times. I appreciate the writers trying something innovative with this book, but it simply didn’t pan out. Much like Witness, this book falls very flat in execution.
Next time, if you're gonna make a one hundred chapter book, maybe make it interesting, ungenderlocked, and not a pain to play!
All in all, not a book I enjoyed, suffice to say.
