All he needed was some proper training. Baking soda or salt would smother it. Potentially if the pan was a quality pan, he could have used a lid.
Hmm, didn’t know about salt. Guess that’s why it helps keep down the grease with my shirtless bacon cooking.
You put salt in the pan while you’re making bacon? Might want to speak to your cardiologist my man.
Or just add more oil to the pan.
I hope the guy is okay.
Yeh no he’ll be fine
Hell be fine
Nah burnt to death.
well considering the fire was literally purple… I’m pretty sure it was super fucking hot
i don't
Unfathomably based
My mom almost did the same thing. I screamed and put the lid on before she fucking tossed water on it
Almost had a new window made of burnt materials!
Isn't it a Basic fucking training that even little kids receive, to not try to use Water against electronics and boiling oil that is on fire? Like c'mon
How the fuck do you work in a kitchen and think this is okay
I think guy is dead
For the sake of the gene pool, I hope so
I thought this is gonna be rather mild and wondering why this was on this sub. Then I proceeded to watch it to the end
Looks like he just burnt down the entire block
Is uhh… he alright?
Did he never had Phisyc in school?
this must be his first time cooking by himself
Darwin award for sure.

Is it becoming a common thing for people to not know to throw water on a grease fire?
Less and less people cooking at home not able to teach their children basics.
Only for people actually working with oil.
Always has been.
My sister and mom didn't know it and cook every day
they're women after all

What should be thrown on it to control it?
