Will i regret the V2?
Hey guys! Would really appreciate some help. Some quick info about me, ive never owned or ridden a Ducati, im currently looking for a new bike and am cross shopping the RS660, Ducati Supersport, and Ducati V2.
Ive never tracked, and all of my riding is either the freeway, or on the street. Obviously the RS660 and the Supersport immediately fit this description better than the V2, but my god the V2 is on another level of aesthetically sexy and i REALLY want the Panigale. Obviously i still think the other two bikes look great, but man, there is just something about the V2. Idk why im tryna explain it, you guys understand
Im only 22 and have only ridden sportbikes, my rides generally arent ever more than 45 minutes long A to B, so i'm really not concerned with the ergonomic argument against it, literally the only thing ive seen that puts me off is the heat. I see people talking about this everywhere, and a bunch of mixed opinions make it hard. Some people throw around the word "unrideable" and others say it barely bothers them. I assume it depends on the country and how hot it is, but i'm living in Australia so...
Having never ridden one maybe im naive and dont know how hot the engine can get, but im leaning towards the V2. I just love the aesthetic so much and the ergo's dont bother me. All this said, can more experienced Ducati owners let me know if ill just be miserable? Also is the heat like, uncomfortable or literally like, "this is painful get me off"?
Appreciate the help and opinions guys!
