A game like War of the Monsters

On a bit of a nostalgia trip and I'm looking for a modern game like WotM but everything I find is just disappointing. The monsters are too big, the combat is too "flashy" etc. What I want is WotM remade but that doesn't exist so I'm trying to find something as close. I don't like majority of godzilla games where you're so big you can throw buildings. I want to climb up buildings and throw cars. I want to fight in the city not on top of it. Any help would be appreciated.
