Roadtripping through Vancouver with a dog
Hi r/vancouver, I'm in the early stages of planning out a road trip that I hope will take me through Vancouver in June or July. The one, slightly out of the norm thing here is that I will be traveling with my dog (puppy photos in my other posts, for anyone interested!). I was curious if you could recommend off-the-straight, dog-friendly things to do while there.
We love good food, beaches, long long hikes, and art (pretty much the usual)! Although Bananas understands she can't go to awwwllll the fine dining places or museums.
Also, any regulation related to dogs, or german shepherds, that is Vancouver or British Columbia specific that I should know about?
Edit: Thank you all for the suggestions so far! One specific additional question: can you think of an area in (or near) the city you'd recommend staying in. I'd prefer to have parking be near wherever I stay (probably an airbnb), and easily available and hopefully free.
