Sephronar appointed Chairman of the Conservative Party #ToryFightBack

Following the landslide victory of Skullduggery12, ascending him into the new position of Deputy Leader of the Party, a vacancy was created for the position of Conservative and Unionist Party Chairman - a tough act to follow, considering the now ex-Chairman’s 523 day tenure, making him by far the longest serving Chairman of the party compared to purpleslug’s 400 days previous record.

But who will fill this famed vacancy? Who will pick up the torch and become the voice of the members in the party? Well, at the same time as he declared the results of the Deputy Leadership contest, Conservative Party Leader u/EruditeFellow also announced the successor for this position.

And u/Sephronar is making a comeback - being appointed to his old position of Party Chairman, a position he once held in 2015 - but can he beat Skully’s record of the longest ever serving Conservative Party Chairman? In 2015, Seph last served in this position for a grand total of 238 days - placing him as the 4th longest serving Chairman.

Sephronar made a statement in thanks for his appointment, making a promise to the members:

“I am honoured to be working with such a brilliant Leadership team - Erudite, Willem, Skully and Pav are all fantastic politicians, and it is an honour to be by their side during the Tory Fight Back! My focus however, as Chairman, will be ensuring the members are carried alongside us throughout all of this. They are the focus, they are what makes this party great, and we need them to help us if we want any kind of fight back at all!

As we enter this new era of the Conservative Party, I am confident that we can move forward as one united team for a United Kingdom - we must focus on the issues which bring us together as a party, champion the ideology that brought us here, and work towards a collaborative approach that will improve our communications and bring us back to political domination in Britain once more.

We can do this, we have an amazing Leadership team and the most amazing members - all we need now is to do ourselves proud and get out there and tell the United Kingdom what our party is all about!”

Speaking on the appointment, Conservative Party Leader u/EruditeFellow had this to say:

“I have known Sephronar for a very long time, we have been through a lot together, we have been very long friends and our friendship is stronger than ever. I am absolutely honoured to have Seph return to the Conservatives and I am proud to make him Chairman of the Conservative Party - his return has already proved fruitful and I am sure the Party will continue to do so under his tenure as Chairman. I am excited to see the activity he brings to the CCHQ and the direction he leads it in. There is so much we can achieve together for our Party and for the United Kingdom, and I am sure with him as Chairman, we will be better positioned to tackle fundamental issues head on and deliver the best policies we can for the country.”
