performance problem over Virtual desktop on quest 2

hello ! first time posting here, i'll get to the point
i couldnt get the official airlink to work ,so i have to use VD
the desktop mode is perfectly fine ,whenever i switch to steamvr the frame drop is extremely noticeable
im using windows hot spot for connection (its Wifi 6 so bandwidth isnt a problem)
PC spec is definitely over the requirement but just in case
i7-12700K
rtx 3070 8G
ram 64 GB 3200 mhz
every game launch is affected, even home
ive set all VR related process to realtime
fiddled with OVR
VD options too
