Did anyone else get Ranni's ending by accident?

Just happened to me and I want to vent about it. Beat the Elden Beast, was feeling really happy and wanted to revel in it and read some messages people had left. I was standing right on top of a player message, clicked triangle to read it, and the game must have thought I was trying to click on the summon Ranni sign.

Immediately sent me right to the ending. No confirmation screen like there have been for other summoning situations either. Honestly, that's left me feeling pretty sore after playing this game for 200 hours and loving (almost) all of it. Like my big decision was taken from me at the very end. Would it have really killed them to add a simple confirmation screen for a choice this important, especially since there have been similar confirmation screens before?

Anyways, vent over. I wanted to commiserate with other folks who may have had the same experience. Sigh.
