Help…

Hi I’ve got a g29 and looking at a set of fanatec csl load cell pedals for my open wheeler gen 1 seat but I think there might be a bit of over hang where the pedal base is wider than the mounting plate is this going to be a problem ? Also I intend on cutting a bit of wood to shove under to stop the base flexing.
