Help writing a one shot…

I have been kind of into DnD for a few years now but I’ve never felt like I’ve ever run a good session… the last time I actually ran one was about 2 years ago and I feel like I didn’t really know what I was doing.

Are there any main things I should keep in mind when writing a one shot?

Is there a specific process I should follow?
