Dropping out of welding course?
Hey,
So I'm entering into my second semester at my welding school. For a little context, I've also done another semester at a different school but switched over and started again because the program here was much better.
I've learned stick welding (all pos), MIG (flat and horizontal), oxyfuel welding and cutting along with grinding/machining.
With the schedule next semester, it's a little chaotic with classes during the morning and night so I'll be hard pressed to find a job until it's over. I've honestly thought about just dropping it because I feel like only welding 2 times a week is really holding me back, and I'm tired of taking electives that have nothing to do with welding.
The thing that sucks about this is I will miss TIG. But I think getting 40h/w at work for the next 3 months would be better than 8h actually welding.
What do you think?
