I have a thing for smart scientist women who establish contact and communication with aliens

I've just finished watching Contact for the umpteenth time again and the section from when the signal is first received to decoding the schematics is my favourite. I especially love the part where the aliens who were more advanced had to figure out a way to communicate with humans. That our plucky scientist is a woman is mwah, chefs kiss for me. Arrival is similar with the linguist and I love it too.

I've also read Children of time, where the roles are reversed, it was such a joyful read, ticked all the boxes.

Can anyone recommend me any more books that I can add to the list ?
