2-3-2 NBA Finals Format

Does anyone know why they they got rid of the 2-3-2 home/away format for NBA finals games? I know the last time they did it was in 2013 when it was Heat v Spurs. I actually thought it was an interesting twist and enjoyed seeing it. And it eased all the traveling. I imagine it was taken away bc it gave one of the teams an advantage, but can’t really put my finger on which one it favored more.
