Trombone spit doesn't empty

My trombone can't empty spit no matter how much I try to clear it. Furthermore, spit comes out of the bell. This issue has been persisting for a month and I'm not sure whether to send it for repairs since it seems to be working fine. FYI model is Vincent Bach 420B0 Bb and F tenor trombone.
