This is an extra account I have for these kinds of situations btw. I’m planning to leave the country towards the end of the summer through a program that I’ve been accepted to. My parents don’t know about it because they don’t accept anything that I wish to do besides going into the medical field. There’s a lot more besides just this but I just want to focus on the general topic. I have some money saved for my job over there and have started to pack and get all my documentation ready. The only thing I’m worried about is them tracking my phone (iPhone 13). I have Life360 in it that they’ve forced me to install ever since I was a junior in hs. Besides taking out my sim and turning off location/gps services I was wondering if it would be safe to put in a new sim from a phone company in the country I will be working at. Would my parents still be able to track it? (Ps they’re not really that tech savvy but could they get the police to do it?)

TLDR: Moving to a new country with old iPhone 13 can parents still track (or get police to track) if old SIM card is out and location off?
