Are concert venues like Webster Hall, Brooklyn Steel etc still requiring vaccine status or did all that go away with the mayor's order?

Please don’t go unvaccinated.

While the citywide mandate has been lifted, some establishments -- and particularly performance venues -- are still requiring it on their own. The last show I attended, just a couple of weeks ago, was checking vaccination status.

The best way to handle this is probably to just bring your proof of vaccination along, just in case.

It's up to individual venues now.

Brooklyn Steel doesn’t check anymore but it varies on the venue.

I go to shows pretty often, and I think the last time I showed proof of vaccination was in February. Either way, I do still have a photo of my card in my phone just in case I need to show it.

The best way to find out is through the venue website and if it’s not clear call them, and usually when you purchase the tickets the ticket seller (such as ticketmaster) typically will state the venue requirements.
