Is it a bug?

So, I've been playing RoBeats for around 4 years now, this didn't happen to me until I think last year? Apparently, when I press the keys that I need to so I can hit the note it still misses, it happens with single notes but also with x2, x3, x4 notes aswell and sometimes with long notes. Some people have told me it's because i don't hit my keys hard enough but my keyboard is completely fine and it's also new so I don't understend
