Fall 2023 | Civil Engineering Profile for Construction Management

Engineering

Hello, I hope everybody is doing well!! I just wanted to get an opinion about my realistic chances for an MS CM (Construction Management) for Fall 2023. My profile is as follows:-

  1. Undergraduate in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University (MU). GPA 7.87/10 or around 3.24/4.0
  2. Almost a year of experience in total out of which 6-7 months in Quality control, execution and Project Management.
  3. Most importantly Project Engineer for India's first-ever online monitoring and supply of water using LoraWAN technology for a state government. (maybe this might compensate for my low GPA?) (3 months for execution and a year for maintenance)
  4. No papers/publication
  5. Yet to give IELTS
  6. No GRE as I am aiming for US schools who don't ask for GRE and some Canadian schools (also I'm just shit at apti:p)
Following are some of my target schools:-
  7. UBCV & UBCO (ambitious) (for MEng in civil engineering with a specialisation in Project Management)
  8. NEU both Boston & Toronto (maybe moderate?) (MSc in Project Management with a concentration in Construction Management )
  9. UIC (moderate maybe?) (for MSc in construction engineering and management)
  10. Uni of Alberta (moderate)
  11. Uni of Ottawa (moderate)
  12. Uni of Windsor (safe)
  13. Uni of Brunswick (safe)
I know most of them would be ambitious given my profile. I have no idea which schools are within reach. Also, I'm aware that my GPA is my weakest point, and the lack of experience too (maybe). Any suggestions on what schools I could apply to and how I can improve my profile?
Thank you very much for sticking till here!!
    Any help is much appreciated!!
And all the best everybody I hope you get your dream unis :)
