would you rather someone do well on normal or try hard?

I'm pretty new to the game but from how much I've played I kinda appear high levelled (my rui card for leader is enhanced with 3 mastery and I have the rui and len fan titles) But I'm still... Not...the best... There's not that many songs I can clear on hard And I know that doesn't make me popular in online matches

As players of the game: would you rather someone play on normal and clear the song or play on hard and possibly die in the process

I'm just kinda worried ppl I match with get rlly annoyed when they see normal
