Alexander quest bugged

My Alexander quest is bugged. I’ve followed his quest line meticulously and he’s stuck at his place after the radahn fight. I’ve tried everything I could think of to progress the quest or reset him, including making him Afro me and then running away and repenting at the church of vows as a last ditch effort and he still just sits there stuffing himself full of corpses. Has anybody else encountered this issue or know how to fix it?

I honestly only did about half of his questline and he still showed up in farum azula for me.

Yeah so I shot him out of the ground upon meeting him, saw him at radahn, saw him in the lava at volcano manner and then nothing until Farum, I didn’t even summon him for fire giant either. I did also progress the jarburg quest line with diallos and the little jar homie though so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it either, since they are slightly related. I don’t know if any of that helps but that’s exactly what I’ve done!

I’ve been afraid to progress the jarburg/diallos quest in fear that it may mess up Alexander’s quest more, but I think I’m just gonna go for it because at the end of the day, he’ll either be at the fire giant or in farum azula, or he won’t and I’ll just have to complete it when I make a third character

So to be sure I understand, alexander doesn't appear* here (the step in liurnia is optional)?

Yep, he hasn’t appeared there or in liurnia (above jar burg) he’s just stuck in the same dialog loop where you find him after defeating Radahn

Have you gone to the lava area where he playing around in the lake by the fire wyrm monster? He might be there. He was there after we talked after the radahn fight.

Yep, I’ve gone there, gone back to make sure I exhausted his dialog, waited, rinse and repeat, he’s still stuck :/

Hmmm doesn't look good indeed. I'm sorry I haven't seen it happen in my playthroughs.

Proceed to farum, chances are that you've done enough to make him spawn there.

Failing that, and if no one can give you a workaround, consider contacting support.

Actually I think the next place he appears after Radahn is on the cliff above Jarburg, he is stuck again if I remember right. Go check there.

I’ve checked there as well and nothing. I can see the hole he is supposed to be in but the round boy himself is still hanging out by the grace at the radahn fight

OP did you first talk to him in the tunnel before meeting him in North limgrave?

I have been following his quest guide to a T and unfortunately I think it’s just bugged :(. I’ve talked to him everywhere he has been available and have been making sure not to do too much in any other quests so as to skip a portion of his
