Is this a hemorrhoid?

Need Advice

Took a massive shit yesterday that got stuck halfway out and it was like this whole extended ordeal, okay. Eventually got it out with some straining.

My butt still hurts, but there’s no blood? Should I just take tylenol and wait for it to go away? 😭

I’d definitely do a soak- in the tub or in one of those basins- with Epsom salts to see if it helps. There are two types of hemorrhoids- the internal ones can cause pain, but the external ones don’t (although you can feel them like little berries on the outside or around your hole) both can bleed.

It is probably more likely that you got a small tear/fissure which can really hurt but usually it will heal on its own. You might try taking a stool softener for a couple of days so you don’t rip it open again. Also, Tuck’s pads or a gentle wet wipe and maybe put some vaseline just to soothe it.

I had the same exact situation happen to me today. Honestly…I just wait it out. But if it’s still hurting then I recommend taking a warm bath to help soothe the pain, or even take some Tylenol!

I took some tylenol and I think it’s starting to get somewhat better! 😅😬

I heard a little ice helps. Glad you're feeling better!
