I like (/s) how the video advocates for better training, as if the pig didn’t know full well what he was doing. If he needs to be explicitly told to not put a little kid in handcuffs the maybe he shouldn’t be in a position of authority, just saying

I taught young children for around 12-13 years.

You know what I never did? Handcuff a fucking child.

You know why? 'Cause I have a fucking soul.

ACABCDEFG.

There’s a great and very disturbing documentary on the criminalization of students called “The War on Kids”. Pigs and teachers are abusing kids of all ages all across the United States. It’s really disgusting.

That actually looks pretty interesting, thanks for putting it on my radar

What in the fuuuuuck. This is enraging.

(You can Definitely TL;DR this one, I just need to vent but basically I've had similar experiences and this will fuck this child up so so much.)

I grew up with untreated ADHD (parents choice, I feel like it was a mistake, my mom doesn't believe in it.) And while I was never put in cuffs, I was locked in closets in kindergarten, picked on by teachers and blamed for everything anyone else did for years until my aunt was in class for one of those parents-come-to-school days and witnessed a kid throw an Eraser at the chalk board, and the teacher whipped around and immediately sent me to the principles office. I don't know how long or how severe that went on, I definitely internalized it though. I'm still unwrapping the trauma that caused, and remember smashing myself in the forehead to make myself "stupid" so I wasn't so overactive and wierd all the time.

This is so wrong and I feel so fuckong bad for that child and what this will do to him. I sincerely hope his parents deal with it better than mine did. Being left to navigate it by myself, I've spent years homeless, unable to hold down jobs or stay living in one place for longer than 6 months without getting bored and self sabotaging everything, so many things I'm just learning are probably a result of my ADHD symptoms not being managed or even brought to light until I recently started looking into it on my own.

Hell, trying to get addicted to meth just helped me focus on projects a little better and I was actively trying to lose my mind and tweak out at the time.

Fuck, obligatory ACAB and fuck institutionalized school.
