Veggie Mexican Pizza -- Is the Meat Subbed or Removed?
I noticed in the app that the Veggie Mexican Pizza seemed lower calorie-wise than I expect. Playing with the customizations, it just looks like it's the Mexican Pizza with beef removed instead of subbing it for more beans.
Mexican Pizza - 530 calories
Veggie Mexican Pizza - 460 calories
Mexican Pizza (remove beef) - 460 calories
Is it a typo or is it really a skimpy Mexican Pizza for the same price?

I wouldn't say the difference of 70 calories makes it "really skimpy. It's still almost 500 calories. That being said, yes. It appears that it's just with the beef removed. Definitely smarter to order the standard one and sub for something else. Though from my experience and that of what I've read from a lot of vegetarians on here, they're more likely to get the correct item if they order one that's already vegetarian, so if they didn't want to sub and were just going to remove, I guess this is better than not having the menu entry. But it should be 30-50 cents cheaper like the veggie fries burrito.
I was surprised that the standard and veggie were the same price too. My store is really good about vegetarian items and subs (large Indian population) so I might try to swap out the beef for black beans
The app doesn't appear to allow swapping the meat on the Mexican Pizza. I might have to ask my local store if they can swap beef for black beans as well.
My store is good with that, too. I'm not strictly vegetarian, so I'll probably just get one as is, but I do swap in black beans a lot in general.
