Is the Gladiator NTX EVO grip compatible with the gunfighter base?

I'm thinking of getting myself a Gladiator NXT EVO joystick (base + grip). I was wandering if the grip is compatible with the gunfighter base, in case I want to update to that down the line.
Is there anyone that has done it?

I'll file that for future recommendations. Great move too, it gives the NXT users an easier entry to higher end gear.
I did the math a while ago, and IIRC if you can sell your whole Gladiator NXT for $90 or more, you're better off doing that and getting a whole Gunfighter setup with a new grip. If not, $90 is the price difference between the full Gunfighter and just the base + SCG grip adapter.
I just checked (using VKB EU), and excluding shipping, incl VAT, the converter+GF base is €313, whilst GF+SCG is €393 (€417 for the more kitted out MCG grip). So ye, it still applies, if one felt inclined to go that route.
How worthwhile the hassle is, rather depends on if you can find an interested buyer for your old stick, I'd say. Otherwise, one could also consider just holding on to the GNXT/EVO, and using it as side-stick later on, whilst using a full new GF setup as centre stick.
If one wants to switch sticks, however, it's a good idea to go with the bundle either way, instead of base+converter first and stick later. That way you don't have to buy the converter, and the stick itself is cheaper to boot.
