Questions on Lost and Found policies

Hey guys, I am a Marriott employee who had a quick question for the “on property” employees.

How do hotels handle lost and found? Like does the housekeeping turn in all clothes and such? Are there any nuances?

The reason I ask is I am an expert at our program and such but don’t know much about the inner workings of the “boots on the ground” jobs.
