In the ER for foot drop

Had a long drive this morning(2 hours one way and 1 hour back to work) and before getting to work, I couldn't lift my left foot off the car floor...terrifying feeling. Headed to the ER instead of work.

All of my symptoms and pain have been right sided (6+) months and the last week or so I've had some left side twinges.

Just had an MRI and the nurse just told me the notes appear to say stenosis has worsened since my last MRI from 2 years ago (Severe stenosis L5-S1, mild L4-L5 and severe L3-L4)

Movement seems near normal at this point in time, but weak and sore feeling.

Have done every nonnsurgical treatment since the right side pain started 6+ months aho and I just feel gutted and hopeless at this point. Feeling like im broken beyond repair. Just needed to vent as I'm sitting in a hospital bed waiting to see if I'm consulting an ortho surgeon before I leave....
