Dream signs

I identified a few fixtures in my dreams, for example riding on a train and a lot of friends appear there. How am I supposed to take advantage of these dream signs? Just acknowledge that these are likely to appear in a dream or repeat some affirmations throughout the day, for example when I meet someone familiar in real life to ask myself a question if he/she is real?
