Being able to successfully hold the horde of 64 players from capturing those 2 (or even 3 on some maps) points in the 128 Breakthrough mode will remain as one of the best feelings this game has ever gave us. Period. The fact that it was unbalanced made it more rewarding when done right. RIP BF2042.
