How to go about restretching my lobes properly after ripping them years back and letting them close?
Hey, everyone! Basically, I have decided to stretch my lobes again. I’d like to do it the right way this time. I was young and dumb the first time(I was a teenager) and never waited long enough between stretches, used cheap jewelry, didn’t use any oil/lube, never massaged my lobes, and didn’t listen to my body. I had gotten up to half an inch and was sizing up…or trying to. To make a long story short, I ended up ripping my lobes and let them close back up. They weren’t ripped horribly by any means but I definitely did damage them and it was extremely painful. I know, I know, that’s exactly what I get. I’m so disappointed in my younger self; always learning the hard way. Now it’s 13-14 years later. I’m wiser and a lot more patient. I browsed this sub and found the general rules for how long to wait in between each stretch. Is there anything specific I should do differently since my ears, more than likely, have scar tissue? Are there any precautions I need to take or tips that might be helpful? Thank you in advance! Any input is appreciated!

Read the info page on the sub, it'll tell you everything you need to know.
As far as scar tissue goes, I had my 10 gauge horseshoe ripped through my earlobe 15 years ago, and always had a hard knot of scar tissue there after it was stitched up. But with oil massages and listening to my body I've had few if any problems stretching it. In the beginning it went a bit slower than my other ear, but now you can barely tell I even have a scar.
Good luck!
Thank you so so much!
