Sail shade.
Easiest and cheapest way would be to buy a car cover.
My neighbor has these not-too-obnoxious arbor vitae - they’re around six feet tall, don’t really drop leaves in the Fall season, and he trims them so they’re kind of cylindrical. He has five on the west side of the driveway, spaced probably 3-4 feet apart, with rainbow spirea in between - so it goes, tree, bush, tree, bush, tree, bush, tree, bush, tree. The spirea are around 2 feet tall and close to three feet diameter.
Driveway runs North and slightly west about 25-30 feet from the street to the apron.
He bought the plants wholesale from a landscape supply around five years ago and I think it was about $400 all-in, and a couple of us helped put them in. Took about half a day. I can’t remember exactly but I think the trees were 3-4 feet tall when he brought them home. The bushes were maybe half the diameter they are now.
Be sure to call before you dig if you decide to go that route and be prepared to encounter a little bit of Class 5 gravel along the edges of a paved driveway - you don’t want to dig too close to the paved surface and risk sagging your pavement. It’s probably unlikely you’d encounter utilities, but in my neighborhood the main water valves are in the middle of some driveways, so better safe than sorry.
