What to write in an email theme to get it opened?
Hi there!
I hope you don’t find this question odd or something. I’m just working on my start-up. I’ve actually decided to run a small business online and look for some new customers. Basically, I’m offering web design services. I’m beginning and cannot dedicate too much time to it. I just want to make it my part-time job to get some extra cash.
In this sub, I hope to find people who started their own business from scratch and can share some valuable tips and life hacks with me.
Recently, I started my email marketing campaign. I find it more convenient because I can send emails whenever free from my main job. I can send them during the working hours or the days off. But, I haven’t been really successful in it. I wondered why nobody replied to me. At least saying something like they are not interested or something like that.
I started to dig for some tips online and ran into this website — https://folderly.com/. They shared some tips on ensuring that your emails get into the recipient’s inbox. One of the tips was avoiding spammy words like buy now, hot offer, and anything similar. I realized that all my email texts are made of spammy words. Especially when it comes to email themes. Perhaps this solves the mystery of low email deliverability scores and zero responses.
But I dunno what to write in the email theme to avoid spammy words. For instance, if I offer a discount for my services, what should I write then? I wonder if you can help me come up with a few templates that avoid all these phrases mentioned earlier.
Also, they have some good tips about the email domain. It’s better to pay for something that looks more professional instead of using typical free domains like Gmail or Yahoo. Yeah, I agree with that point. But, before I switch to a paid domain, I need to create a few templates that will sell themselves.
