After losing to Choya 2-0 in round 2 of the open bracket Monster has only dropped one individual game 2-0ing every other opponent, he is currently 20-3 in individual games and the only person from the loser's bracket to make it to the 4th round of the championship bracket. Quite an impressive run so far.

I love the fact that he has done it, even in the Championship bracket, against all match-ups. Showing he isn't just lucky to beat a Terran such as Dream when he then goes onto to beat Ryung.

This needs more upvotes! This is like what Leenock did at Providence, its absolutley incredible. If someone has the numbers I'd like to see the runs compared.
leenock ended up 32-5, 2-0ing everyone in the open bracket and only dropping games to MMA, DRG, and Naniwa
I think this is why MVP sent three of their younger low tier players to this mlg. Younger players seem to benefit from the momentum of plowing through the open bracket immensely.

yea i remember this monster guy, Very underated zerg, I was first stunned by how good he was when he beat Nerchio at Dreamhack convincingly . Nobody beats nerchio like that in ZvZ.
then ofcourse hes also the reason MC was knocked out of the Gsl in his slump days.
