Leomat, Pikler, Nugget?!

Okay so hubs and I are turning a room into a toddler safe playroom for our almost one year old. We are conflicted in which items to get! Little guy LOVES to climb so we are debating between a Pikler set (off Etsy, probably between 250 and 400), a nugget, and/or a Leomat. I was going to get some foam blocks on Amazon but I think long term a nugget or Leo would be more cost efficient.

My husband likes how much more versatile the Leomat seems and we really like the cover options but it’s super pricey. I like the price of the nugget but I’m underwhelmed by the cover options.

I’m tempted to do Pikler and Leomat because the Leomat would double as a reading nook as he gets bigger and we can lay on it too.

The space we’re working with is about 12’ x 9’. It’s also going to have a bookshelf, a table/chairs, and a storage cube unit.

I know we could just go to a park but it’s HOT here in the summer and I don’t want to sunscreen him every day. I’m tired of being used as a jungle gym. 😂
