Calabar pythons

so i have never owned a snake but i know a bit about them. is a calabar python easy to care for and what would be a good size of enclosure, got suggested 3x1x2 and 2x2x2 cause they sometimes climb for one they borrow and need 6" of dirt. I found a CB 18" one
