Did I do something wrong…?

I thought this sub could not steer me wrong, but I was deceived.

“Ask for the chips on the side” you said. Ask for the chips on the side I did. Politely. “May I have the chips on the nacho bell grande on the side please?” Cashier goes, “what do you mean?” I sigh, in my head. At this point I know it will come out wrong. “Chips in one container, toppings in another.” “I gotchu,” he says. I worry that he doesn’t got me.

I pull up to the window. The order is handed to me by a girl, not the guy that spoke to me at the speaker. I check the order and alas toppings are on the chips. I had a long drive before I could eat and, while I usually don’t complain, I decided I did want it how I ordered it. I have to explain to 3 different people what I mean before I can get it corrected. Eyes are rolled at me even though I’m being polite.

I had false expectations; everyone here posts nicely separated toppings in the same container.

Toppings all smothered on top of each other. By the time I arrived to my destination it was a sloppy mixed up mess.

I shouldn’t have gotten the chips on the side.
