This is Meghan unscripted and not in control. It's the same as the USO show. She panics in these situations.
Why does she put herself in these positions when she obviously cannot manage them? She could have easily stood off to the side with the other wives or girlfriends and let Harry have one thing.
They put her in the center after she handed out the individual trophies/plaques. She and Harry were the hosts so it was natural to want her in a picture with the big trophy.
That's what I see / read.
Oh my gosh, the USO show! How could I forget? When she kept trying to touch that man who air drummed to keep his hands busy so she wouldn’t claw at them anymore. Then she air drummed with him and he never looked at her. Everyone grouped up and she’s alone in the middle. I would’ve hitched a flight home after that.
There’s a backstory there for sure!!

The man to the left is staying busy and keeping space for a reason. Everyone’s paired up and she’s swaying along swinging her head back and forth trying to engage someone. It’s so awkward.
The guy on the left in the USO Christmas show video (playing the air drums) is Brian Urlacher, a retired professional football player, who played for 13 seasons with the Chicago Bears. He apparently didn’t want to interact with Meghan one bit - he basically ignored her.

She’s so delusional that she has actually scripted this. However, what she’s scripted doesn’t happen in real life because nobody else knows about her script, so if one person is out of place from where she imagined they’d be, she loses control and doesn’t know what to do. I think that’s why we got that clip of her when Doria starting talking that time in the cookery tent and Megs was like 👺 because she wasn’t prepared for anyone else to talk except for herself. When Doria accidentally edited the script, Meghan’s colon dilated and she panicked

I think this is a very good assessment of what is going on. She ends up looking like a flailing fish.
I love how first Harry and then Meghan try to take that plaque from the guy in the left hands and he's just like 'No!' and also moves away from her :)) It says a lot about how liked she is by the other teammates
Not that I’m defending her/them but it looked to me like they were trying to get him to hold it up higher. (The teammate to the guy’s right halfheartedly grabs at it too.) It looked like they were going to take a pic with them holding the awards, but the cup was in the way, the guy moves out from in front of the cup, then they just decided to just hoist the cup up. They weren’t trying to take it, which is why he didn’t react or let go.
That said, this was cringe af and clearly she is trying to be the center of attention, hands all over Haz, trying to do something to insert herself in what’s going on by copying Harry and standing in the middle of everything.
I think the previous poster is talking about the box the guy left of Meghan is holding. She tries to take his box!
That’s what I’m talking about too. Both Harry and the team mate on the other side put their hands on the box to get him to hold it up. Nobody (including Mug) is trying to take the box. Also, when the other teammate puts his hands on the box, the guy clearly says no and shakes his head. When Smeg does it, he moves his mouth but doesn’t appear to be addressing her specifically.
Mug just needed something to do other than stand there, so she tries to busy herself with that long after the moment has passed, trying to pretend to be useful because she’s awk as fawk.
Again, I’m not defending her cringe AF behavior here, she’s clearly trying to steal attention, insert herself and act like she belongs there when she doesn’t. I hate her too, but there is plenty to snark on in this video with what she is doing, without without projecting things onto her.

I don’t know, it looks like she was to give the awards out initially, which is fine. But it just tailspinned. Her trying to grab the gentleman’s award, talking to him beforehand and he not once looks at her was telling. She awkwardly looks like she says “ok” when he says “no” and doesn’t release it to her. I would die right then and there if I was her.
The fact that he made zero eye contact while mouthing the word “no” says it all.
LMAO. The gentleman is a teenager. I think he's 16. The demographic Meghan and Harry have been trying to cater to while talking negative about the older generation. I just find it funny that the teen isn't falling for Meghan's BS.

He’s in a situation where he knows what to do and how it should go, and he’s a) behaving according to custom and b) not helping her. Interesting. Either he feels like she should just know what to do or just can’t anymore with this woman who won’t listen when he tries to explain something to her.

In addition, standing in the middle and she isn't reading the room that she needs to move and she is just clapping and smiling. They need to pose with their trophy, but can't. They have to somehow hold it above her because Meghan IS NOT MOVING. The cameras are on her. Then she ducks underneath them knocking her hat and goes back to rearranging it so she can be camera ready. They clearly did a quick photo with all of them, when they reached for the award to pose with that should've been her sign it is time to step aside. I've actually pinned my husband's new rank on him at his promotions during his career in the military. When my part was done, I knew to step aside so the CO could finish the job. I am convinced at this point she was not supposed to be on that stage after that part. They didn't know how to pose with that award with her in the middle of everyone smiling and clapping like a ditz. This is as awkward as that last balcony appearance.
Her "in the wild" jubilee appearances are going to be interesting. We should mentally prepare for the awkward weirdness of someone who needs to be the center of everything.

I watched the video. They got a picture, then she should’ve moved when they wanted to hold the trophy but she stood there where they had to hold it above her in an awkward position. Then she squeezed in between in an even sillier move on her end.
