SEALED for HVAC upgrade?
Has anyone worked with sealed? How much did you lower your energy use and what was your payment to them based on your savings? https://sealed.com

I rented an insulation blower from home depot and did it myself. It was very easy, but dirty work for sure.
The difference was night and day, not sure on the energy savings but my AC was able to keep the upstairs much cooler.
You have exposed joists already?
I just finished trying to go through the process with them. They told me they weren't able to help me because I didn't waste enough gas for them to bother.
So if you're already watchful of your energy usage, they'll be useless.
I will find out next week when they crunch the numbers. Thanks. I will be upgrading an older furnace to a more efficient model so I just might meet their criteria
Don't bet on it. My furnace is 20 years old and they didn't want to.
Well after getting a decent quote from a local contractor (I have another scheduled for tomorrow) I have decided against the follow up with SEALED. Thanks for everyones response
I'm not super familiar with them, but are you going to be using any of the NYSERDA incentives?
I’d love to hear about this as well. I started down the path with them and stopped because I’d like to wait for some remodel work to be complete in a year or so.
Also what's a good company to come do an estimate and maybe insulate an attic bedroom for.... Freeish
